reducing the space between us

I am mailing out soap that I have used to wash my body. The people who receive this soap are asked to shower with it and clean themselves, and then mail it to another person. When the bar of soap gets used to the point that it gets too small to mail to someone else, I have asked that it be returned to me.

i try to smell like someone else until i think the soap has reached its destination. no one really notices.

i am beginning to wonder if maybe i am better defined by the absences i embodie than, as previously thought, the accumulations.

this is a strongly scented soap; so, like a perfumed pheremone, it lingers on my body and in my clothes; a tribal scent to be recognized by my other tribal members. We meet, greet, do that 2 or 4 french cheek kiss thing, then linger softly on the neck and inhale and know: you are me and I am you. xoxoxoxooxox margaret dragu

ps. i have a photo how can i post on blogg?
